I love these unique Miller Goodman's PlayShapes ($158). There are really endless possibilities when you have a block shaped like a moustache.

I would love to stay cool this summer with any of these animal-themed fans. Always a sucker for animals..

My sister sent me this great list of '100 Things to Do in NYC with Kids Before They Grow Up' on Mary Poppins and I can't say that I've hit a lot of them yet. They really don't even need to involve kids, there are things on the list like biking on Governor's Island and Dave and Buster's arcade (ok, I've been there, and yes it's fun!). And, I totally had this idea like 5 years ago but apparently there is a floating pool on a barge in the Bronx. This summer seems like a good idea as any to get cracking on these.
Anyone used SeamlessWeb yet? I feel like we already have it pretty good, living in the city where we can order pretty much any type of food we can dream up and receiving it within an hour. But then again, who hasn't been caught in the situation where you're scrounging for change in the couch to try and make up the tip. On SeamlessWeb, you can place your order, pay for it and the tip on your credit card, and send through your order. Can't wait to try it, most likely tonight.
Just had Rickshaw Dumplings for the first time last night and they were deeeelicious. The dipping sause is something else.Check out the site and follow the twitter feed to see where it's heading. I see that you can also have the truck park outside your events. Late night wedding dumplings anyone? Sounds like a good idea to me..

If you haven't used these before, get ready. Trader Joe's offers these awesome Dorot frozen cubes such as crushed garlic and chopped basil (here is a full list of all of Dorot's offerings). They are so easy you just pop them out like ice cubes from the tray, throw them in and continue cooking. No washing, cutting, preparing. Plus they are so easy to just store in the fridge and the cubed portions are perfect. Ok, maybe I'm late to catch on but I just love 'em.

Check it out - Diapers.com folks are starting a site for pets called wag.com. Hurrah! Crossing my fingers they have free next day shipping too. No more lugging an oversized bag of food on the subway and getting the stink eye for it. Go to wag.com now and enter for a chance to win free pet food for a year.
Love these one of a kind antique rugs sold on One Kings Lane today by Matt Camron Rugs & Tapestries, like this Turkish Kilim Rug ($459). Better hurry up, many are already sold out.

So I guess being a full time working mom unfortunately eats in to my fun blogging time. Who knew.

Somehow I've managed to make time to admire the American Apparel kids and baby lines (now that there are THREE stores in my neighborhood). They include these comfy hoodies of course ($16), other fun hipster onesies ($14-16), tutus ($48), and awesome striped kimono wraps with matching pants that I've seen in the store but couldn't find online.
