I've been getting into my workout video lately and looking for some variety. I saw this one in a magazine recommended by an Olympic skier.

I really like this sleek and classic Pewter Platter found on Tabula Tua.

I didn't like all the lace I was seeing at first this winter, but I do like the subtle lace creeping in on certain pieces, including this Forever 21 Lace Back Silk Dress.

I love this bold, oversized Crystal Rock necklace on J. Crew:

I love these two coral reef inspired lamps sold on Horchow.

I suppose I can add wings to the list of things I like, like sea life and poufs. I love these ceramic wings from Areo.

I'm scared of my own shadow yet I love the idea of showering behind this JAWS curtain.

Can't wait for dinner tonight, my grilled cheese favorite!

Multigrain Bread

plus Tomato Soup. Yum..
I love these budget decorating ideas from AllYou. From rugs to lamps and other decorative pieces, most of these items are under $30.
Very odd, I was just writing this post on a green alternative to the ziploc bag when I received Daily Candy's email today on the same topic.

The ones I had found are EcoStuffer bags on Go Green Etc. They're washable, reusable bags that velcro seal shut.

On Daily Candy today they advertised the Abeego bag, a similar idea made from a hemp/cotton fabric.

The Secret History, by Donna Tartt, is an interesting creepy, thriller read. It's about a group of students who form a tight bond over their Greek studies. Ultimately they end up taking themselves a bit too seriously, and their actions too far.

It's a good suspenseful and creepy quick read!
I love the finds on Pixie Market today that I just saw in their newsletter. Check out their Neutral Gear gallery.

Here are a few of my favorites:

Just finished reading this book, Gates of Fire: An Epic Novel of the Battle of Thermopylae by Steven Pressfield. This was suggested to me by my husband who typically gives me history and war books that I sometimes have difficulty following (I'm more interested in lifestyle and relationships than complex battle plans). But, I was totally surprised by this recommendation, in a good way.

The story is told from the point of view of Xeones, a Spartan helot, and leads up to the battle of Thermopylae. It took a few days to get into but by the end I was glued to the book and at one point I had 5 people hunched over an ancient map of the hot gates, examining the path of the Spartans.

To top it off, I timed this perfectly with my Netflix queue.. the movie 300 just arrived this weekend!
How adorable is this? A retro suitcase filled with a hooded towel, washcloth, bib, and even a rubber ducky! Get this Jet Set Jake set on Navy and Lavendar. I'll never have to think hard for a baby shower gift again.

Seal it with whatever you'd like using Old School Seals. Since I had a seal made in China with my name I've been using it to personalize all things, books, cards, notes, etc. Now you can customize yours online. Check it out.

Once again I'm a big fan of the pouf. I'm very excited that West Elm has come out with its own version for $100-$200.

Hint hint to that special someone, this would be an awesome present for Valentine's Day.

I love the patterns and colors of these sensory sacks sold on Etsy by Icing On The Cupcake.
