This is too funny. This guy attempted to get across Manhattan being carried, in some for or another. Read more about him and his other stunts on The Huffington Post.

I really like this small Marvelous Key Rack on Charles & Marie. I can never find my keys on the way out in the morning and this contraption would really decrease morning tension with my hubs!

So ridiculous. Just love it. What more is there to say?

Watch the video here.

No, this is not for your teeth. But this cracked me up this morning, these nylon bristle 'Tooth Brushes' sold on the Curiosity Shoppe. It wouldn't be the same without the gold tooth.

I love this grey pearl necklace dress sold on Pixie Market. Yes, I'm still obsessing over long sleeve dresses. I love that you don't even have to accessorize with this one.

These are both practical and fashionable, the new bike accessory: handlebar bags sold on Supermarket. Now I just need the bike part.

Not sure what to say for Valentine's Day? Use these Backyard for Bongo Valentine's Day cards to get your creative writing juices flowing. See all Backyard for Bongo cards here on Etsy.

I love these puffy vintage cloth letters. Buy any letters A-Z for $14 each on VivaTerra.

The Knit Lite and the Crochet Lite are great little inventions that allow you to continue your project in the dark with glowing LED tips. Think of all the possibilities. What better way to crochet during a movie?

Love this bright green recycled glass globe lamp from VivaTerra. My living room is currently totally neutral with browns and beiges and I've been trying to pick an accent color, orange or green. This lamp may have pulled me to the green side.

Love these beautiful blue linen papillon pillows on VivaTerra. How to get my husband to agree?

Really like this overhead laminated canvas bag sold on One Kings Lane today. I'm in the market for a sleek new travel bag so that I don't have to carry my usual 12 different plastic bags and random carry-ons that I end up having to stuff into my suitcase anyways! It's $69 on sale.

Remember my good old felt stone obsession? If it doesn't ring a bell, a quick recap. I'm obsessed with these felt stones on VivaTerra:

Well guess what, they now have felt stone pillow:

And last but not least, a clustered felted stone mat! Now, how to afford them..

J'adore this French love letter necklace that features a brass charm envelope and letter that reads Je t'aime.

There's nothing better than being able to wear a comfy tee to work. That's what's so great about these, they make it so easy to get away with.

The Grosgrain Medallion Tee on Ann Taylor Loft ($34.40):

The Bow T sold on Gap.com ($19.99):

I like this blackbird tee from Lyric Culture, where all clothing is inspired by song lyrics.

Mixing my favorite color with chains creates this triple wrap Vita Fascino bracelet.

I'm loving this plain satin blouse on Lulu's. I'm loving in general the non-form-fitting anything these days! Especially love the gold buttons on the back

What is it with me and LL Bean Home?? I don't know what's gotten into me.

The Wool Hooked Rug, love the colors:

And the kids whale rug, which I think would actually look great in my bathroom:

I'm a sucker for small shiny pendants. This is no exception - check out this recycled sterling silver Old Hollywood puzzling necklace:

I love some of these furniture pieces found on Uncommon Goods.

The Walk-Don't Walk chair, which can come with a fresh coat of paint or with 'original' coat (sorry I'd choose the fresh one..)

The wine barrel chair made from salvaged oak wine barrels:

Perfect for your ski lodge, this chair made from recycled snow skis:

And just a little treat, this cactus wine rack:

I received an LL Bean home magazine today and was pleasantly surprised! I've never seen one before, and while a lot of it was way too old school for my taste, there were a few great finds in between.

Check out this sea-glass wreath, now I just need the beach cottage:

These two Maine Island Throw Pillows:

This I actually have from years ago which I love, a goose down comforter for only $119:

And finally, this cute sailor's knot doormat:

Ok sorry, one more I can't help myself! The personalized pet mat:

I find this whole Conan-Leno thing so annoying! Read his statement on it here.

I wasn't even particularly interested in seeing this movie when I went. What sold me was the fact that I'd never seen a movie in 3D. I couldn't have been more pleased and surprised, I loved it! And the special effects were really amazing. If you haven't seen it yet I highly recommend it.

Love this gold mesh belt I just found on Calypso! Perfect for controlling your flowing Calypso tunic.
As you know I love poufs! Found one on CB2 in the perfect shade of green for only $79.95.
I love the idea of setting a plain mirror in front of a wall decal pattern. Check out these Fernwood mirrors I found on Blik:

Yes, I admit I can get easily sucked into infomercials, who doesn't? This was a rather interesting one which I am going to order called the Perfect Brownie. It's genius! Basically you can cook the brownies in a grid-like formation so that they come out baked as pieces and each brownie has the edges. Also, the bottom pushes up so that you don't have to transport them to another dish. I mean seriously, I know I sound like an ad right now but why haven't I heard of this until now?

Not to boast, but OK fine I will, here's the lamb shank we made the other night. First try at braising!

Got the recipe from MyRecipes: Braised Lamb Shanks with Parsley-Mint Gremolata

A pic of my version with Orzo and Broccoli Rabe:

Debating on a few items from J Crew's final sale:

I really like this black studded belt found on Amici Accessories.
My latest project first entailed gathering my husbands old ties that he still has from the 7th grade! Next I bought a frame from Target for $25 that is meant to double as storage for artwork, so the side width was bigger than normal. Next I cut the ties lengthwise after laying them down in the pattern I wanted. I glued the top one first, totally flat against the cardboard backing. The rest of the ties, working my way down, I glued along the side and bottom of each tie, forming a pocket. I hung it by the door, and now we have a preppy mail holder to help us get organized in the New Year!
